Classy and elegant is how to best describe this summer Temple wedding, near Oakland California. Imagine a month before your wedding that due to travel and other scheduling conflicts you were away from your fiancee for a whole month and wouldn't see them until just a few days before the wedding! This was just the scenario that played out for Lindsey and Calvin. So when was the first time they saw each other after a month of being apart just before the wedding? Their First Look - as you'll see in the video - the reaction is one of a kind!
The first look as well as other parts of the highlight were filmed at various locations from the Oakland Temple and other beautiful areas surrounding the bay area. Following the Temple sealing the party moved onto the reception at the Kohl Mansion in Burlingham. A stunning brick estate that if it looks somewhat familiar to you, you may recognize it from the movie flubber! Which I never saw, but was told it was in there! Haha!
Details were in abundance, and the most notable of which were the custom Diet Coke favors. Wow!
The "Send Off" was also one of the most memorable I have ever seen, utilizing 150 commercial confetti poppers. As you'll see in the video, this created a truly magical effect as it completely and entirely engulfed the couple, before they made their escape in a Rolls Royce. More of their wedding day highlights can be seen in the full film.
Even though a few years have now passed since this wedding, it still resonates with me as a fun celebration of two amazing people and their love for each other!
